From the beginning
From the age of 18 when I landed my very first wedding and events role I was hooked. I fell in love with the industry and the amazing memories it gave to families and loved one.
Over the past decade and beyond I have gained invaluable experience in different areas of weddings and events and have been lucky enough to work with some amazing teams and plan luxury events for Laura Ashley at their stunning location on Lake Windermere.
Alongside my experience and passion for weddings, not to mention my love for the Lakes, I am also an Executive PA in business which has been invaluable to me when beginning Little Lake District Luxuries and setting up the business from scratch.
After working in the wedding and events industry for many years I decided it was time to branch out on my own and take the first scary steps to becoming self employed. This has been the best decision I ever made professionally and I have never looked back. After two very successful years creating beautiful gifts, the feedback has been wonderful from customers and corporate clients and has given me the confidence to keep doing what I love so much.
Outside of creating gift boxes and favours I also network locally and work alongside many other women in business where I have been fortunate enough to gain some amazing friends and clients. I am currently working on a number of different collaborations with other local businesses creating bespoke gift boxes for yoga retreats, the education sector and many more.
I truly hope to be doing business in the Lakes for many years to come and to see Little Lake District Luxuries keep growing and supplying many more gifts for our wonderful loyal customers.
